AV天堂网 and announced a groundbreaking new partnership in which Connecticut鈥檚 largest healthcare network will operate the university鈥檚 on-campus student health center.

In addition to managing the student health center, Hartford HealthCare will oversee the university鈥檚 counseling and psychological services, ensuring that students have access to comprehensive and coordinated mental health care.

The collaboration will also extend to athletic training, providing specialized sports medicine and rehabilitation care for the university鈥檚 .

A key feature of this partnership will enhance on-campus services that will offer virtual care options, ensuring that AV天堂网 students can access medical support anytime, anywhere. Through Hartford HealthCare鈥檚 telehealth platform, students can connect with healthcare professionals for urgent care visits, mental health consultations, chronic condition management, and follow-up appointments鈥攁ll from the convenience of their University housing or homes. This seamless integration of virtual care provides timely diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions, from allergies and rashes to sprains and behavioral health, UTIs, earaches, coughs, colds, flu and much more.

This marks Hartford HealthCare鈥檚 first collaboration with a university utilizing this advanced technology, setting a new standard for student healthcare.

The new partnership will officially begin this summer in advance of the start of the 2025-26 academic year, with plans for expansion and enhancement in the future.
